Indian kurash player Yash Kumar Chauhan has been provisionally suspended after an Asian Games sample returned an adverse analytical finding.

Indian kurash player Yash Kumar Chauhan has been provisionally suspended from all sporting activity after an in-competition sample collected during the Asian Games returned an adverse analytical finding for multiple prohibited substances.
The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) announced the development on Saturday, saying the sample was collected on September 27 during the Asian Games.
The International Testing Agency (ITA), which handles anti-doping testing and results management for the Asian Games on behalf of the OCA, reported adverse findings for Metandienone metabolites, GW1516 metabolites, Mephentermine and its metabolite.
According to the OCA, Chauhan has been informed about the case and placed under a provisional suspension pending its resolution under the World Anti-Doping Code and OCA Anti-Doping Rules.
The suspension prevents the Indian athlete from competing or taking part in training, coaching or any other activity connected with the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
The OCA said the suspension will remain in place until the anti-doping matter is resolved.
Multiple prohibited substances detected
Among the substances reported in Chauhan's sample was Metandienone, which is listed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) under S1.1 Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS).
The substance is prohibited both during and outside competition and is classified as a non-specified substance under the WADA Prohibited List.
The OCA said Metandienone is an anabolic steroid associated with increased testosterone levels and effects including muscle-mass growth, endurance and strength.
The latest case is being handled through the anti-doping process, with the ITA responsible for testing and results management for the Asian Games on behalf of the OCA.
