
Hisar: In a shocking turn of events, former world champion boxer Saweety Boora has been captured on camera physically assaulting her husband, former Indian Kabaddi team captain Deepak Hooda, at the Hisar Women's Police Station. The footage shows Saweety attacking Deepak, grabbing him by the neck and collar during a mediation session that had been arranged to address marital issues.
The incident took place on March 15, during a mediation session conducted by SI Seema and ASI Darshan at the Hisar Women’s Police Station. Deepak Hooda, in his complaint filed with the Hisar Sadar Police Station, states that he was called to the station to discuss a dowry case filed by Saweety. However, things escalated during the session when Saweety, along with her father began using foul language and physically assaulted him in front of the police officers.
In his statement, Deepak claims that Saweety physically attacked him during the session, leading to injuries. He also mentioned that Saweety’s uncle, Satyavan, was present during the incident.
Following the incident, the Hisar police have registered a case against Saweety Boora, her father, and uncle under various sections. SI Ramesh Kumar confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will follow.
