Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals today announced that head coach Rahul Dravid will conclude his tenure with the franchise ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
The tweet highlighted Dravid’s pivotal role in the franchise’s journey over the years, noting that his leadership influenced a generation of players, instilled strong values within the squad, and left a lasting impact on the culture of the team.
As part of a recent structural review, Rahul Dravid was offered a broader position within the franchise but chose not to accept the new role.
Rahul Dravid began coaching the Rajasthan Royals in 2023, having previously joined the franchise in various mentoring roles after his playing career. During his coaching tenure, he was credited for strengthening the team’s performance and culture.
