This follows the promotion of Kieron Pollard as head coach, replacing Mahela Jayawardene.

Mumbai: Former India batter Robin Uthappa was on Friday appointed as the batting coach of Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2027 Indian Premier League season.
A member of India's victorious squad at the inaugural men's T20 World Cup in 2007, the 40-year-old Uthappa previously represented Mumbai Indians as a player during the franchise's debut season in 2008.
"From being part of our very first season to returning with a wealth of experience! Robbie brings a sharp understanding of the game, great communication, and the clarity to guide youngsters! Welcome back to the Paltan, Robin," Mumbai Indians posted on their official X account.
The announcement follows a broader overhaul of the team's coaching setup. On Thursday, Mumbai Indians parted ways with bowling coaches Lasith Malinga and Paras Mhambrey, alongside fielding coach Carl Hopkinson.
The franchise also promoted former batting coach Kieron Pollard to the head coach position last week, replacing long-serving head coach Mahela Jayawardene.
