In a dramatic turn of events during the ongoing IPL match between Punjab Kings (PKBS) and Gujarat Titans (GT), Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has set an unwanted record for the most ducks in IPL history. Maxwell, known for his explosive batting, was dismissed for a first-ball duck, caught before the wicket by GT spinner Sai Kishore.
The dismissal marked Maxwell’s 19th duck in the Indian Premier League, edging him ahead of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who had equalled Maxwell’s record just a couple of games earlier this season. Maxwell’s unfortunate run leaves him at the top of the list for the most ducks in the competition’s history.
