The woman has lodged a complaint through the Chief Minister's online grievance portal, IGRS

Mumbai: In a shocking development, Royal Challengers Bengaluru fast bowler Yash Dayal has been accused of physical violence, mental harassment, and financial exploitation by a woman from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The complainant, who claims to have been in a relationship with Dayal for over five years, has alleged that the cricketer assaulted her after she confronted him about his refusal to marry her despite repeated promises.
According to reports, she has submitted extensive evidence—including chat screenshots, video call recordings, and photographs—along with her complaint.
The woman had initially lodged her complaint on June 14, but claimed that no significant action was taken at the police station level. With no progress in her case, she turned to the Chief Minister’s office in search of justice.
Following this, an FIR was registered, and the CM’s office has directed local authorities to complete the investigation by July 21, 2025. "She has chats, screenshots, video calls, and photos etc as evidence. The request is to investigate this matter promptly and impartially, and to take legal action against the accused. This step is important not only for her, but also for all girls who fall victim to such relationships," the official complaint said.
As of now, neither Dayal nor the RCB franchise has released an official statement regarding the allegations. The police investigation is underway to verify the claims and gather statements from both parties.
Notably, Yash Dayal was part of RCB's historic IPL 2025 title win earlier this month, taking 13 wickets in 15 matches. He has represented Uttar Pradesh in all domestic formats and is yet to make his India debut.
