Kozhikode: On the occasion of this year’s Onam, english.mathrubhumi.com is organising ‘Sing & Win’, an Onam song contest for children to bring alive the festival celebrations in full gusto.
The contest will begin on August 20 and conclude on August 29 covering ten days - Atham, Chithira, Chodi, Vishakam, Anizham, Thriketta, Moolam, Pooradam, Uthradom and Thiruvonam.
All you have to do is capture a short video of your child (preferably in Onam attire) singing an Onam song and WhatsApp / gmail us your entry. The best three entries will receive exciting prizes worth Rs 2000, Rs 1500 and Rs 1000 respectively.

Contest Rules and Guidelines
- Sing an Onam song (solo) without karaoke tracks or orchestral support and shoot it in vertical format without any edits/filters
- Duration of songs should be between 45 seconds and 2 minutes
- Kids in the age group of 5 to 10 years can participate. Only one entry is allowed per person
- Good audio and visual clarity mandatory
- Full name of contestant, age, grade and phone number is mandatory. [We'll use this information only to contact the participants]
- Winners will be announced on Aug 30 on the Mathrubhumi English website.
- Prizes will be distributed only after age verification of the contestants
- Entries can be sent from Atham day (Aug 20) till Thiruvonam day (Aug 29). Late entries will not be entertained
