Thiruvananthapuram: Beverages Corporation sold liquor worth Rs 116 cr on Uthradam day.

The sales figures at two prominent liquor outlets surpassed the Rs 1-crore mark. The Irinjalakuda outlet witnessed the highest sales at Rs 1.06 crore. Following closely is the Kollam Ashramam outlet, where an estimated Rs 1.01 crore-worth of liquor was sold.

Officials from the Kerala State Beverages Corporation (Bevco) said that the final figures might vary slightly. On the occasion of Thiruvonam, Bevco outlets remained closed.
