When asked about the characters he played down the year, the veteran actor remarked that he doesn't like to get stuck in memories with his old movies but would like to keep looking forward to new ones.

His passion for cinema started from his childhood. Cinema was on his mind when doing his course at the Polytechnic College at Kalamassery. Siddique recalls his debut in Thampi Kannanthanam's movie and opined that he didn't have to look back on his career. The actor also stated that he respects his co-stars who had to go through a difficult period before finding success in their careers.

He remembered when YouTube videos weren't as accessible or accepted by directors or producers, and the only option was to convince them of one's skills.

After college, Siddique worked at KSEB as a provisional lineman. Though the temporary appointment was for a year, he enjoyed the time as he could watch movies for free in theatres in his then capacity.

After a year at KSEB, he went to Saudi Arabia for three years and worked as an Electrician at his cousin's company. His colleagues at the company motivated him to try movies when they saw him perform mimicry.

On being asked about his opinion on Mimicry, the actor mentioned that Mimicry is an art and that anything that entertains is art.

"Even at this point in my career, I am not inclined to be picky about films. I value my character over all other characters in the film and perform appropriately. I know that if I perform well in one movie today, I will get ten movies for tomorrow," Siddique said.

'Balubhai ' in the movie 'Satyameva Jayate ' took a turning point in his life as it proved the actor in him in a villain role.

He strives to make each of his repetitious roles unique by adapting it to his style. He says he does this to engage the audience.

When asked who he prefers, Mammootty or Mohanlal, he stated that they are like Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi Daily, and it is up to the public to decide.

Siddique was the Interviewer for 'Samagamam ', a TV program which was much appreciated for his professional and genuine interaction with the guests. The actor stated that the interaction with the great people at the show taught him to be down to earth.

"Many of the great actors in the industry have passed away, and their absence is a vacuum beyond description. They have helped me evolve as an actor. My experience at the All India Radio as a drama artist helped me to experiment with the importance of using voice," he said.

When questioned about rumours about contesting for elections,  he mentioned that he would not choose it as his area of expertise is in a movie. Political entry would confine him to a particular section of people which would limit him as an actor.
