To counter claims that his appearances are AI-generated deepfakes, Netanyahu specifically displayed his hands to the camera.

Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a second video on Monday, appearing in public for the second consecutive day to further dismantle persistent social media rumours regarding his death.
In the latest 90-second clip, Netanyahu is seen interacting with civilians and military personnel at an overlook in the Jerusalem Hills. The footage follows a viral video released Sunday from a cafe where he mockingly addressed conspiracy theories claiming he had been killed in recent regional escalations.

Interactive Public Appearance
The video shows the prime minister walking outdoors and greeting bystanders in the Jerusalem area, near where his previous video was filmed. During the interaction, Netanyahu is seen quizzing citizens on the location of the nearest bomb shelters and emphasising the importance of leaving the house for fresh air despite the ongoing conflict.
To specifically address claims that his recent public appearances are artificial intelligence deepfakes, Netanyahu again displayed both hands to the camera. This recurring gesture is intended to debunk social media rumours that alleged a previous televised address showed him with an "AI-glitch" sixth finger.
Countering Regional Disinformation
The Prime Minister’s Office has intensified its public relations efforts as the conflict enters its third week. In New Delhi, Israel's Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, officially refuted the rumours on Monday, confirming that Netanyahu is alive and that the recent footage is genuine. Azar dismissed the reports of AI fabrication as part of a broader campaign of disinformation.
While the video primarily served to quell rumours about his health, Netanyahu also delivered a stern military update. He stated that Israel is striking Iranian targets with significant force and confirmed that operations in Lebanon are ongoing. He urged the Israeli public to remain resilient and to strictly follow the safety instructions provided by the Home Front Command as security restrictions remain in place across the country.
