The Dubai Media Office confirmed that an aerial threat was successfully neutralised over the city's central district.

Tensions across the Gulf reached a fever pitch on Saturday as the conflict between the US-Israeli coalition and Iran entered its third week. For the second time in 24 hours, the heart of Dubai was rattled by debris from a mid-air interception, while a drone strike targeted the US Embassy in Baghdad.
The Dubai Media Office confirmed that an aerial threat was successfully neutralised over the city's central district. However, falling fragments struck the facade of a building in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). While authorities reported no injuries and stated the incident was "fully contained," the psychological impact on residents was profound.
One witness living near the financial hub told AFP:
"I jumped out of bed — that was the loudest sound I've ever heard. It was so loud, I was so sure when I looked out the window that it was going to be something catastrophic... The ground shook."

The escalation was mirrored in Iraq, where a drone reportedly struck a helipad within the heavily fortified US Embassy compound in Baghdad. The attack followed a series of overnight strikes that killed a "key figure" within the Iran-backed Kataeb Hezbollah group. A security source confirmed the fatality, stating: "At 02:15 am, a missile struck a house that was being used by Kataeb Hezbollah... a key figure was martyred."
