The long-rumoured rift within the Beckham family has reportedly escalated, with Brooklyn Beckham issuing a firm warning to his parents to avoid direct contact
The Beckham family feud has intensified amid reports that Brooklyn Beckham has cut off direct communication with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. According to the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old has asked his parents not to contact him personally or comment publicly about him, insisting that any communication be routed through his lawyer.
Sources claimed that Brooklyn’s decision followed his displeasure over briefings and reports concerning his wife, actor Nicola Peltz. Some past narratives suggested that Brooklyn was being “controlled” by Peltz or kept “hostage”, allegations that reportedly caused offence and deepened tensions within the family.

A source was quoted as saying that David Beckham was instructed to communicate via the law firm Schillings, which allegedly became the only permitted channel for contact. While Brooklyn reportedly exchanged letters with his parents last summer, these were also said to be handled strictly through legal representatives.
Despite the strained relationship with his parents, Brooklyn is said to remain in regular contact with his grandparents on both sides of the family, including Victoria Beckham’s parents, Tony and Jackie, and David Beckham’s parents, Ted and Sandra. Sources indicated that he remains close to them and is aware of the emotional toll the dispute is taking on the wider family.
Reports further suggested that David Beckham reached out to Brooklyn with an invitation to attend his investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle and later extended an invitation to Nicola Peltz for a late-night dinner. Brooklyn allegedly declined both, viewing the gestures as potential public relations moves rather than private reconciliation efforts.
According to those close to the situation, Brooklyn is attempting to navigate what has been described as a “soul-crushing” family feud while keeping matters low-key. Nicola Peltz, sources added, continues to be his primary support during the ongoing dispute.
