Abdul Latheef, Ruksana, and their two other children sustained serious injuries and are undergoing treatment at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi: Four Keralites, including three siblings, were killed in a road accident in Abu Dhabi when the car in which they were travelling met with a crash, relatives said.
The deceased have been identified as Ashas (14), Ammar (12) and Ayash (5), children of Abdul Latheef, hailing from Kizhisseri in Malappuram district, and his wife, Ruksana. The family’s domestic help, Bushra, a native of Chamravattom in Malappuram, was also killed in the accident.

The accident happened on Saturday morning near Shahama on the Abu Dhabi–Dubai road. The family, who reside in Dubai, was returning after visiting the Liwa Moreeb Dune Festival in Abu Dhabi.
The bodies have been kept at a hospital mortuary, and relatives said arrangements are being made for the burial in the UAE.
