Bhandara (Maharashtra): Eight people, including three children, were killed after a Bolero SUV collided with an Eicher truck in Maharashtra's Bhandara district in the early hours of Friday, police said.
The accident occurred around 4 am between Manegaon and Pimpalgaon in Lakhni taluka.

According to a police official at the spot, the Bolero crashed into the truck, killing all eight occupants. The deceased included five adults and three children.
The victims were travelling from Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur towards Nagpur via National Highway 53 when the accident took place.
Three injured
Three other people were injured in the accident and were rushed to Sakoli Sub-District Hospital for treatment, according to police.
Police personnel and local residents reached the spot after being alerted and carried out rescue operations.
Bhandara Superintendent of Police Noorul Hasan confirmed that eight people, including three children, were killed in the collision and three others were injured.
