Niagra (Canada): A 22-year-old female student from Gujarat has tragically lost her life following a knife attack in Canada's Niagara region, according to local law enforcement.

The deceased has been identified as Vidhi Kalpeshbhai Meghani, a resident of Borsad town in the Anand district of Gujarat. Vidhi had migrated to Canada four years ago and was juggling her academic pursuits with a part-time job.

The fatal assault took place on May 15, though authorities are yet to establish a definitive motive behind the horrific killing.
