Petrol prices across key metro areas remained steady at ₹94.77 in New Delhi, ₹105.41 in Kolkata and ₹100.82 in Chennai.

Petrol and diesel prices across major Indian cities remained unchanged on Wednesday, offering consumers temporary relief amid global volatility in crude markets. In Mumbai, petrol continues to retail at ₹103.54 per litre, with no variation recorded since yesterday. Over the past ten days, the city has witnessed only marginal movement, with rates oscillating between ₹103.50 and ₹103.54. Kozhikode also reported stability, where petrol is priced at ₹106.03 per litre, following minor fluctuations earlier in the month.
Elsewhere, petrol prices across key metro areas remained steady: ₹94.77 in New Delhi, ₹105.41 in Kolkata, and ₹100.82 in Chennai. Other major cities, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Thiruvananthapuram, also recorded no daily change.
Diesel prices followed a similar trend. In Mumbai, the fuel is selling at ₹90.03 per litre, unchanged from the previous day. Daily revisions—implemented nationwide since June 2017—ensure that diesel prices respond promptly to international market conditions, although no immediate adjustments were observed today. In the metros, diesel stands at ₹87.67 in New Delhi, ₹92.02 in Kolkata and ₹92.40 in Chennai, with all cities reporting a price change of zero. Kozhikode’s diesel rate also remains stable at ₹95.02 per litre.
Domestic LPG prices likewise showed no movement this month. In Mumbai, a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder is priced at ₹852.50, while commercial 19 kg cylinder prices have seen a modest reduction across several cities. In Delhi, the commercial cylinder now costs ₹1,580.50, reflecting a ₹10 decrease, with similar cuts observed in Mumbai, Chennai and other state capitals.
India’s retail fuel prices continue to be shaped by global crude benchmarks, domestic taxation and currency exchange dynamics. For now, consumers benefit from short-term stability, although future revisions will depend heavily on international energy trends.(With inputs from Agencies)
