Despite the slight dip, petrol prices remain above the ₹100 mark in Mumbai and several other metro cities due to higher state taxes and local levies.

Diesel prices in Mumbai stood steady at ₹90.03 per litre, unchanged for nearly 12 months, offering some relief to transporters and daily commuters amid volatile global crude oil markets.
