Kannur: The branches of two trees were pruned since they obstructed the view of a flex board displaying the image of the Chief Minister in Kannur.

As per the complaint filed before the authorities, three people are behind cutting the tree branches in front of Thavakkara U.P. Government School. 

The incident occurred on Saturday when the school was closed. The school authorities later filed a complaint with the police and Kannur Corporation. 

Earlier, a few people had installed flex board on top of a building on the roadside showing the LIFE Mission Project. Later, some people approached the school officials demanding to cut the branches of two trees since they blocked the view. 

The tree branches were cut on Saturday morning when neither the teachers nor staff were at the school.
