Kannur: A case has been registered by the police in the case where branches of a tree that was obstructing the view of a Life Mission flex board with the Chief Minister’s picture were cut. The Kannur police registered a case based on a complaint filed by the Headteacher of Thavakkara U.P School which houses the tree.  

The incident occurred on Saturday when the school was closed. The school authorities later filed a complaint with the police and Kannur Corporation. The police are planning to conduct an investigation focusing on theCCTV footage of the area.
