
Thiruvananthapuram: A three-day-old baby girl was abandoned at the Ammathottil of the Child Welfare Committee in Thiruvananthapuram on Christmas morning at 5:50 am. Health Minister Veena George shared the news on her Facebook page, expressing joy over the baby’s arrival and inviting the public to suggest names for the newborn.
In her post, Minister Veena George mentioned that the baby girl is the 22nd child to be received at the Ammathottil in Thiruvananthapuram alone this year. She wrote, “Today, on Christmas Day, at 5:50 am, a 3-day-old baby girl was received at the Ammathottil of the Kerala State Child Welfare Committee in Thiruvananthapuram. So far this year, 22 babies have been received at the Ammathottil in Thiruvananthapuram. Let's name this daughter. Names are invited.”
The minister’s post quickly garnered attention, with many people suggesting Christmas-themed names for the baby, as she was welcomed on the special occasion.
