Thiruvananthapuram: The companies in Technopark registered a revenue of Rs 13,255 crore in IT and related software exports for the last financial year, marking a growth of over 14 percent from the previous year’s Rs 11,630 crore.
Technopark CEO Colonel Sanjeev Nair (retd) praised this outstanding performance, highlighting it as a testament to Kerala’s vibrant IT ecosystem and the professionalism of the local companies. He stated that foreign representatives have been impressed by the region's infrastructure.
Covering 768.63 acres with 12.72 million square feet of space, Technopark houses 490 companies, providing 75,000 jobs directly and 200,000 jobs indirectly.
With the completion of its three and four phases, Technopark is set to become one of the largest IT hubs in India. Many companies within Technopark have recently received national and international awards for business growth, innovation, and workplace excellence, solidifying its status as a key player in the country’s rapidly growing startup ecosystem.
