Kochi: The probe into the Thrippunithura firecracker explosion will be completed in time time-bound manner, stated Fort Kochi Sub-Collector K Meera on Thursday. 

She was at the spot as part of the magisterial investigation. She added that the investigation report would be submitted to the District Collector within two weeks after checking all the reports and statements in connection with the blast that killed two persons on February 12.

Visiting the houses that were damaged in the impact of the explosion, the Sub Collector said that a report has been sought from the engineering department to assess the damages and that measures would be taken to demolish the buildings if needed.
