Palakkad: In a concerning incident at Kattussery in Alathur, Palakkad, a school bus from Alathur A.S.M.M Higher Secondary School veered off course and overturned into a nearby canal on Thursday around 4:15 PM. The bus was transporting 24 children from Gandhi Junction Kattussery to R Krishnan Road at the time of the accident.
Fortunately, the mishap resulted only in minor injuries to the students onboard. The bus appeared to lose control during the journey, causing it to veer off the road and overturn into the canal.

Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, providing swift medical attention to the affected children. All students were given the necessary medical care and there were no serious injuries reported.
