Palakkad: K Jayarajan, a CPM leader from Anna Nagar in Chemmanampathi near Muthalamada, has been receiving flak for disrespecting the national flag. He hoisted the tricolor in his house but tied it below CPM’s flag, violating the flag code.

The act has stoked controversy. CPM and BJP activists are demanding action against the leader.
