Kasaragod: Allegations of disrespect to the national flag have surfaced at the BJP district office in Kasaragod, where several national flags were found piled up in a corner of the office. Visuals of the incident have emerged.
The incident reportedly came to light after the BJP district committee’s Tiranga Yatra under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The national flags brought to the BJP district office after the event were allegedly found discarded carelessly.

The visuals have also been widely circulated on social media, prompting demands for action against those responsible.
The DYFI district committee has called for strict action against those responsible and has submitted a complaint to the State Police Chief.
Har Ghar Tiranga campaign
The incident comes amid heightened attention on the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign ahead of Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes, honour freedom fighters and make the campaign a celebration in every household.
He has also called on people to renew their commitment to the vision of a Viksit Bharat, linking the spirit of Independence Day with the goal of building a developed India.
