
Kozhikode: Krishnapriya, the wife of Arjun, a truck driver who went missing during a landslide in Shiroor, Karnataka, has assumed a new role at the Vengeri Service Co-operative Bank. She has been appointed as a Junior Clerk/Cashier at the bank's Thadampattuthazham Head Office.
The bank’s governing body made the decision to offer her the position, recognising the longstanding relationship with Arjun’s family, who have been loyal members and clients for many years. A special government order was issued to facilitate her recruitment.

Krishnapriya was accompanied to the bank by Arjun’s sisters, Anju and Abhirami, as well as her brother-in-law, Jithin. According to the bank’s president, P. A. Premachandran, Krishnapriya will undergo a few days of training and may be transferred to the Kannadikkal branch near her home if necessary.
There has been no breakthrough yet in the search for Karnataka landslide victim Arjun.
