New Delhi: In yet another incident involving Bajrang Dal, Christian priests and nuns from Kerala were allegedly attacked by its members in Odisha, reports Mathrubhumi News. The two priests and a group of nuns had travelled to the village to attend a memorial service held at the home of a Christian believer who had passed away two years ago. They arrived around 5 pm, and the rituals concluded by 8 pm. It was during their return journey that the attack took place.
According to the complaint, around 70 Bajrang Dal activists blocked their path and assaulted them. The attackers allegedly pushed over the priests’ motorcycle, physically assaulted them, and tore their clothes. Their mobile phones were also reportedly snatched.
