The accident happened around 10 pm near the Neduvathoor Tamarassery Junction on the national highway.

Kottarakkara (Kollam): Two people were killed and two others critically injured after two bikes collided and one of them caught fire at Neduvathoor on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Abhishek (24), hailing from Ezhukone, and Siddhivinayak, a native of Mailom.
The injured, Jeevan (21) of Nileshwar, and Sanoop (21), were admitted to a private hospital in Kottarakkara, where their condition is reported to be serious.

The accident happened around 10 pm near the Neduvathoor Tamarassery Junction on the national highway. According to locals, the bikes, travelling at high speed from opposite directions, collided head-on, causing one of the bikes to burst into flames.

Abhishek, who was on the burning motorcycle, died on the spot after suffering severe burns. The others sustained injuries after being thrown off in the impact.
Fire and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze before Abhishek’s body was shifted to the hospital.
