Kottayam: Sreepriya and Sreelakshmi are twins who have so much in common that life keeps on giving them surprise after surprise. On November 29, these 26-year-old twins gave birth at the same hospital where they were born on October 11, 1995. The surprise didn’t end there as both gave birth to girls only a few hours apart. 

Sreepriya and Sreelakshmi, hailing from Thalayolaparambu, were born to Chandrasekharan Nair and Ambika Devika 26 years ago at Kottayam Caritas hospital. Later, they studied BCom with CA, completed their internship, got married together on the same day. Now, they gave birth at the same hospital they were born years earlier. 

Sreepriya gave birth to a baby girl at 2.20 pm and Sreelakshmi at 6.43 pm. Like their mothers, both children have the same blood type. The birth was also a surprise for the hospital authorities as well.

"We are not aware how everything fell exactly alike. Maybe, it is because of the unique bond we have. Let our children grow up as we grew up,” Sreelakshmi and Sripriya said.
