Thiruvananthapuram: The Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department has asked attendees to wear traditional Keralite attire for the Kerala Piravi event at the Secretariat on November 1. The circular does not clarify what exactly counts as traditional Kerala dress. Normally, the government does not enforce any dress code for its events.

The Chief Minister will inaugurate the state-level Kerala Piravi–Administrative Language Week celebrations at the Secretariat Durbar Hall. The event will also honour notable figures.
