Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government on Friday extended the statewide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 till May 30, informed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Hence, the lockdown restrictions will be in place across the state till May 30.
Triple lockdown imposed in 3 districts except Malappuram has been lifted, added the CM.
With this, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam will not be under triple lockdown.
Malappuram will continue to be placed under triple lockdown due to the high test positivity rate.
