The new Amrit Bharat services will operate on the Thiruvananthapuram–Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram–Tambaram (Chennai) routes

New Delhi: The high-speed long-distance train, Amrit Bharat, will reach Kerala. Two trains have been allotted, connecting Kerala with Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed this to BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
The Amrit Bharat trains were announced soon after a passenger train was sanctioned on the Thrissur–Guruvayur route. The new Amrit Bharat services will operate on the Thiruvananthapuram–Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram–Tambaram (Chennai) routes. Earlier, a Thiruvananthapuram–Bengaluru Vande Bharat sleeper train had also been sanctioned for Kerala.
Reacting to the announcement, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that only the NDA is capable of resolving people’s issues and thanked the Prime Minister for sanctioning new trains for Kerala.
