Kottayam: Anaswara, the girl who makes porotta at Aarya hotel on Kanjirappally road in Erumeli, has turned a star on social media. Many people have been showering love over this LLB student after her life story went viral on social media.
Anaswara is a native of Kuruvamozhi in Erumeli. She resides in a tiny house close to a small hotel.
“I started making porotta to help my mother Subi who runs the hotel. Later, it became a regular thing in my life. At first, I faced some difficulties. But now, I can easily make a porotta,” said Anaswara.
Her mother and aunt have been helping Anaswara in her job. Anaswara’s younger sisters Malavika and Anamika are also on duty at the hotel as porotta makers. The duo is studying in class 6 and 12.
Her grandmother started this hotel. Later, her mother Subi and her sister took up responsibility of running the hotel.

Now, Anaswara, her two sisters and their aunt’s son are also actively working for this small eatery.
Anaswara and her family have been residing at their ancestral house close to the hotel.
Anaswara is a final year LLB student at Al Azhar College in Thodupuzha.
“Earlier, my friends used to address me as porotta just for fun. But I didn’t feel humiliated over it. I am always proud of my livelihood. Now, all my friends are supporting me to continue in the job. As my story went viral on social media, everyone came to know about my life. Many people are extending support to me,” said Anaswara.
“Only a few months are left for completing my course. But I will continue making porotta even after passing out as a lawyer. My mother and family support me a lot to continue my studies along with the job at the hotel,” she added.
Like everyone, the members of Aarya hotel are facing problems amid lockdown.
“I had a job in a bank during lockdown. But I quit. I also conducted tuition classes to earn some pocket money. But at present Aarya hotel is my major source of income,” Anaswara explained.
“Doing a decent job is not a shameful matter for a boy or girl. I want to lead a happy life without bothering about the job and circumstances. I believe if we live without making complaints, life will gift happiness and peace to you,” Anaswara shared her life lesson.
