New Delhi: India's Butter Garlic Naan has been ranked as the world’s best bread by TasteAtlas, a leading online food guide. Meanwhile, Kerala's favourite Porotta also made it to the Top 10, securing the 6th position in the list of the 50 best bread dishes globally.

Another Indian favourite, Amritsari Kulcha, claimed the second spot. Other Indian breads featured in the list include Naan (8th), Paratha (18th), Bhature (26th), and Aloo Naan (28th).

TasteAtlas curated the list by evaluating various bread dishes worldwide. While India took the top two spots, Turkey’s Çarşamba Pidesi ranked third, followed by Malaysia’s Roti Canai in fourth place and Colombia’s Pan de Bono in fifth.
