Kollam: In a shocking incident, a lady doctor was stabbed to death at Kottarakkara Taluk hospital on Wednesday morning by a person who was brought for medical checkup.
The deceased doctor Vandana Das (23 years), was a native of Kottayam district.

Sandeep, the culprit in the case, is a teacher at Nedumpana UP school.
4 other police officers were also injured in the attack.
The gory incident happened on Wednesday early morning, when the culprit was brought to the hospital for medical aid. It is said that Sandeep grabbed the scissors and stabbed the lady doctor multiple times while she was trying to stitch a wound on his body.
“Sandeep who was displaying violent behaviour earlier, unleashed the attack without any provocation,” says police.
