Kottarakkara: According to the medical board report submitted before the Kottarakkara court in connection with Dr Vandana Das' murder case, the accused Sandeep has been suffering from antisocial personality disorder. The report was prepared by a board chaired by Dr Mohan Roy, superintendent of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
The panel observed the accused in a special cell of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College and reviewed his previous activities. The board comprised experts from eight departments including neurology, clinical psychology and urology.
Meanwhile, the probe team has not yet received any evidence stating that Sandeep was intoxicated at the time of the murder.
The case is being investigated by a team of officials led by crime branch DySP MM Jose.
Vandana Das, a Kottayam native, was brutally stabbed to death by Sandeep at Kottarakkara taluk hospital in Kollam on May 10.
