Kayamkulam: A fresh controversy has broken out in CPI(M) after MLA U. Prathiba’s image went missing from the poster shared on the Facebook page of the party's area committee ahead of the inauguration of Muttel bridge.
The poster without the MLA’s image received sharp criticism on Facebook following which it was removed a while ago.
The CPI(M) Kayamkulam area committee had shared a post on Facebook extending greetings ahead of the inauguration of Muttel bridge on Sunday. However, the poster did not carry the name or image of U. Prathibha.
It is learned that dissatisfaction of a section of party leaders over U. Prathibha resulted in the MLA missing from the poster. However, most of the Facebook users criticised this on social media.
