
Kochi, Kerala: Boby Chemmanur, the businessman arrested in the sexual harassment case filed by Malayalam actor Honey Rose, is set to be produced in court today. Ahead of the court appearance, Boby underwent a second medical examination early this morning.
At around 5:00 am on Thursday, Boby was taken to a hospital for a follow-up medical check-up. Speaking to the media while en route, Boby again denied the allegations, asserting that he had committed no offence. However, he did not respond when asked about evidence supporting the claims, including evidence circulating on social media.

After the medical examination, Boby returned to the Ernakulam Central Police Station from where he will proceed for his court appearance. Police officials confirmed that efforts are being made to ensure Boby will be produced in court later this morning. The police are expected to file an application for his release in custody during the court session.
Bail application expected today
Boby's legal team, led by lawyer Adv B Raman Pillai, is present at the police station. Raman Pillai is known for his representation of high-profile clients, including Dileep in the actress attack case, Bishop Franco Mulakkal in the nun rape case, and the defendants in TP Chandrasekharan murder case. Reports suggest that Boby's team will file a bail application in court today.
The police have registered a case against Boby under Section 75 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 of the IT Act. He was taken into custody from Wayanad and brought to Ernakulam Central Police Station on Wednesday evening, where senior police officials recorded his arrest and questioned him.
Sources indicate that Boby's mobile phone has been seized by the police and may undergo forensic examination as part of the ongoing investigation.
Meanwhile, actor Honey Rose, who filed the complaint, appeared in court on Wednesday evening and gave a confidential statement to the Ernakulam First Class Judicial Magistrate Court. Following Boby’s arrest, Honey Rose expressed gratitude to the Kerala Police, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, and the Kerala government for their swift action.
