Kumily: Police have arrested Deepak Manohar (36), a private bank manager from Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, for the theft of two high-value phones from a mobile store here. Kerala Police reached Tamil Nadu and apprehended the suspect.
The incident occurred while Deepak was visiting Thekkady with friends. Deepak, who serves as the regional sales manager for a private bank in Tiruchirappalli, entered the store under the guise of purchasing a phone during their tour of Kumily town. Subsequently, two costly phones disappeared from the premises.
Deepak returned to Tamil Nadu, but police nabbed him with the help of CCTV footage.
