Alluri Sitharama Raju, AP: A video showing alleged theft at a hospital in Andhra Pradesh has gone viral on social media on Wednesday.

According to media reports, the incident happened at a hospital in Araku Valley, Alluri Sitharama Raju district. The CCTV footage from the hospital shows a man stealing mobile phones from sleeping patients.

The incident reportedly occurred around midnight, when the suspect entered a hospital ward and quietly took phones placed beside patients. CCTV footage shows a man wearing a black hoodie and white pants moving between beds before leaving the ward.

The video clearly shows the suspect’s face. According to Disha Daily, police have launched an investigation and are reviewing the footage. However, it is still unclear how the accused entered the hospital premises and managed to escape unnoticed.
