Special Investigation Team probing the Sabarimala gold theft is likely to question Adoor Prakash in connection with the case. The move reportedly follows a list prepared by the SIT of persons allegedly linked to the prime accused, Unnikrishnan Potty.

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: The Kerala Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has rejected UDF convener and MP Adoor Prakash’s allegation that the Chief Minister’s Office and Political Secretary P. Sasi were behind reports claiming that the SIT had summoned him for questioning in the Sabarimala gold theft case.
Responding to the matter, CMO said, "The statement made by UDF Convenor & MP Adoor Prakash claiming that the Chief Minister’s Office and the Chief Minister’s Political Secretary fabricated the story behind the news that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Sabarimala case would summon him for questioning is completely contrary to facts.”
“The SIT to probe the case was appointed by the Hon’ble High Court. The SIT investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Hon’ble High Court’s Division Bench, and the investigation report is to be submitted before the Hon’ble High Court itself. There is also a strict court directive that details of the investigation should not be made public. Neither the Chief Minister’s Office nor the Political Secretary has any role in this matter. The MP’s allegation is a totally baseless and false propaganda," it added.
Meanwhile, sources said the Special Investigation Team probing the Sabarimala gold theft is likely to question Adoor Prakash in connection with the case. The move reportedly follows a list prepared by the SIT of persons allegedly linked to the prime accused, Unnikrishnan Potty.
However, Prakash has maintained that he has not received any formal notice or intimation from the SIT regarding questioning.
When photographs of Prakash with Potty surfaced, the ruling CPM used the images to politically attack the UDF, framing it as retaliation against the UDF's criticism of the CPM over the case.
