The help desk will operate via mobile and WhatsApp numbers, giving men a platform to share their concerns freely.

Kozhikode: The Mission Men’s Commission, led by men’s rights activist and YouTuber Rahul Easwar, has announced plans to launch a 24-hour help desk for men in Kerala. The initiative comes amid public attention on Deepak, who died by suicide after a video of a woman accusing him of sexual harassment went viral.
The help desk will operate via mobile and WhatsApp numbers, giving men a platform to share their concerns freely.
“Men are often feel reluctant to discuss their issues with others. Through this platform, they can share their concerns and, if needed, access expert assistance as well,” Easwar told media in Kozhikode.
Alongside the help desk, the Mission has developed a dedicated app called 'Homies Men Ki Bath'. Users can access support via face verification, ensuring privacy while receiving guidance.
Easwar explained the app provides a safe and confidential space for men to discuss problems openly and, when necessary, seek expert advice.
Easwar also announced that the birthday and death anniversary of Deepak will now be observed as Men’s Awareness Day in Kerala.
On Wednesday, the Mission visited Deepak’s family and handed over ₹3,17,000, collected from foreign-based professionals and commission members, as support.
Push for a State Men’s Commission
The Rahul Easwar-led Mission Men’s Commission has been batting for formation of a State Men’s Commission, modelled on the Kerala Women’s Commission and the Kerala State Youth Commission, to provide a platform for men who face fabricated harassment cases. Last year, Perumbavoor MLA Eldose P Kunnapilly, accused in a sexual assault case, also sought permission from the Assembly Speaker to present a private member’s bill for forming a State Men’s Commission along the lines of women’s commissions.
