Karnataka: In a devastating incident on Wednesday morning in Yellapura, Uttara Kannada, the death toll from a truck accident has risen to 11, with 15 others suffering injuries. The truck, carrying fruit vendors from Savanur to the Yellapura fair, crashed into a 50-meter-deep valley after the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle. The road lacked a protective wall, contributing to the tragic accident.

In a heartfelt post, he offered his condolences to the grieving families and assured that the government would provide appropriate compensation to the victims' families.
The truck accident in Yellapura occurred around 5:30 am, with the truck falling into the valley in a forested area. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident, while the injured are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
In a separate incident, four people lost their lives and 10 others were injured when a vehicle overturned in Sindhanur, Raichur, on the same morning. The Chief Minister reiterated his condolences for both incidents and prayed for the souls of the deceased to rest in peace.
