Just ahead of Diwali, SpiceJet is set to reconnect Ayodhya with major Indian cities through a new series of daily flights.

With Diwali around the corner, SpiceJet has announced a special festive initiative to reconnect Ayodhya with major Indian cities through a new network of daily non-stop flights.
Beginning October 8, the airline will resume operations from Ramnagari, launching flights to Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad in phases.
According to SpiceJet, the first flight to Bengaluru will take off on October 8, followed by Delhi on October 10, Hyderabad on October 17, and Ahmedabad on October 26. The airline is also exploring the possibility of restarting Mumbai services soon.
The move comes just months after SpiceJet had suspended its Ayodhya operations in June. Now, with festive travel demand peaking and devotees preparing to visit the Ram Temple during Diwali, the airline is making a strategic comeback.
SpiceJet’s Chief Business Officer, Debojo Maharshi, said Diwali is the perfect occasion to visit Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram.
“We want to make it easier and more accessible for devotees and tourists to reach Ayodhya during this auspicious time,” he said.
The new flight schedule aims to provide travelers with comfortable, affordable, and convenient access to Ayodhya, allowing them to celebrate the festival amid the spiritual aura of the city.
With this festive relaunch, the airline is not only reopening the skies to Ayodhya but also rekindling faith and festivity — one flight at a time.
