The terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam on Tuesday, which claimed the lives of 26 people, marks the deadliest attack on visitors in Jammu and Kashmir this year. The incident has further intensified the government's commitment to eradicating terrorism in the Union Territory.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi abruptly ended his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia and decided to return to New Delhi on Tuesday night.

The attack has drawn widespread condemnation and stands as one of the most significant terrorist strikes targeting civilians in Kashmir in recent years.
