The maximum temperature is expected to remain largely unchanged over the next three days before dipping by around 2°C to 4°C later in the week.

Afternoon temperatures in Kolkata are likely to hover between 35°C and 36°C till Wednesday before easing slightly towards Friday and Saturday.

Night temperatures are expected to stay between 29°C and 30°C through the week, keeping humidity levels high and weather conditions uncomfortable despite the expected showers.
