Jamnagar: IndiGo has further strengthened its presence in Gujarat by expanding operations across six key cities, namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar.

The airline also announced that operations to Jamnagar will resume from April 23.

According to the airline, it now offers direct flights from these cities to more than 30 destinations across India. In addition, international connectivity is available from Ahmedabad to Dubai, along with seamless connecting flights across IndiGo’s wider network.

IndiGo currently operates over 700 weekly departures from Gujarat, making it one of the most well-connected states in its network. These flights cater to both business and leisure travellers, supporting Gujarat’s role as a major hub for manufacturing, trade, ports, and its large global diaspora.

The airline has also enhanced connectivity between Gujarat and Mumbai. It recently added more than 50 weekly flights to and from Navi Mumbai International Airport, in addition to its existing services to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

This move is expected to improve travel options between Gujarat and India’s financial capital, making it easier for passengers to access business and commercial opportunities.

IndiGo’s expanding network is also helping improve access to important economic and tourism centres within the state. For example, better connectivity is supporting the growth of GIFT City as a global financial hub. At the same time, popular tourist destinations such as the Rann of Kutch are becoming more accessible to travellers from across India and abroad.
