The schedule includes 10 non-scheduled flights to the UAE, alongside regular services

Air India and Air India Express are operating a combined total of 20 scheduled and non-scheduled flights between India and key Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) destinations on March 30, 2026, as part of their ongoing efforts to maintain connectivity across the region.
Of the total operations planned for the day, 10 will be non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). These services remain subject to slot availability and prevailing operational conditions at the respective departure airports.
The airlines confirmed that all flights are being conducted with the requisite approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities in both India and the UAE, ensuring full compliance with bilateral and aviation safety requirements.
In addition to the non-scheduled services, Air India Express will continue to operate its scheduled network across select GCC routes. This includes flights connecting Muscat with Delhi and Mumbai, as well as services from Jeddah to key South Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Kozhikode, and Mangalore. These routes are expected to support both passenger movement and essential travel demand between India and the Gulf.
The coordinated operations by Air India and Air India Express underline the carriers’ continued focus on sustaining air connectivity with the GCC region, which remains a critical corridor for Indian expatriates, business travel, and regional mobility. By deploying a mix of scheduled and additional non-scheduled flights, the airlines are working to address fluctuating demand while adhering to operational and regulatory frameworks in a dynamic environment.
The move also reflects the broader strategy of the Tata Group-owned airlines to enhance network resilience and ensure continuity of services across high-demand international sectors.
