India has extended the deadline for Pakistani nationals at the Attari-Wagah border, allowing more time to return amid rising tensions.

Punjab: India has extended the closure deadline at the Attari-Wagah border for Pakistani nationals, allowing them more time to cross back to their home country.
This decision comes amidst ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, which have been exacerbated by unprovoked firing along the Line of Control. On the ground, Pakistan continues large-scale military drills in key border areas such as Sialkot and Shakargarh, further escalating the situation.
In a related incident, Abdul Waheed, a 69-year-old Pakistani national, tragically passed away from a cardiac arrest in Amritsar. He was scheduled for deportation after living in India for 17 years with an expired visa. His repatriation was arranged by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
