New Delhi: In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Digital India initiative, the Government of India has announced an engaging contest for digital content creators titled ‘A Decade of Digital India’.
Aimed at highlighting the transformative impact of digital services in the country, the contest invites citizens to submit one-minute reels showcasing how Digital India has positively impacted their lives.
The contest is open to all Indian citizens and offers attractive cash prizes. The top 10 winners will receive ₹15,000 each, followed by ₹10,000 each for the next 25 winners, and ₹5,000 each for the next 50. Participation is free of cost, and the submission window is open from July 1 to August 1, 2025.
What participants need to do
Participants are required to create a one-minute reel in portrait mode (MP4 format), capturing real-life stories of how Digital India initiatives have benefited them or their communities.
i. How Digital India made public services more accessible
ii. Your experience using platforms like UMANG, DigiLocker, BHIM UPI, eHospital, etc.
iii. The role of Digital India in education, healthcare, governance, digital payments, or entrepreneurship
iv. A community or family story transformed by digital inclusion
Reels can be created in English, Hindi, or any regional language, and adding captions is encouraged to ensure broader accessibility. Videos must be original, in high resolution, and shot in portrait mode.
Interested individuals should upload their reels to a platform with a publicly accessible link and register their entry via the official MyGov.in website. Contestants are advised to keep their MyGov profiles updated for further communication.
